Conference Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at our Conference are

requested to agree with the following Conference Code of Conduct throughout

the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a

safe environment for everybody.


Our Conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference

experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and

expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body

size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof).


We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form.


Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue,

including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter, LinkedIn , Facebook and

other online media.


Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender

identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical

appearance , body size, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual images in public

spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing

photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events,

inappropriate physical contact, and inwelcome sexual attention.


If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or

have any other concerns, please contact a member of the conference staff

immediately. They will be happy to assist those experiencing harassment

and help to make them feel safe for the duration of the Conference. They

will invite both the person who performed harassing behaviour as the

person being harassed to create mutual understanding and respect. We value

your attendance.


Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply

immediately. Conference participants violating these rules will be warned

by the conference staff and can be asked to leave the Conference. If

repeated violation of this Code of Conduct occurs, the participant will be

expelled from the Conference without a refund at the discretion of the

conference organisers. We kindly ask you to follow these rules at this

Conference, workshop venues and conference-related social activities and

help to create an open, warm learning environment where there is mutual

respect for everyone and knowledge can be shared without any barriers.
